DROWNING FATALITY.

MAN DROWNED AT WAIKOHU

Another drowning fatality too’k place on Wednesday evening by means of which a laborer named Daniel O’Hara lost his life. The scene of the occurrence was a creek at the end of the railway extension works at Waikohu, but the details to hand are very meagre. Attention was first drawn to the affair by a number of men observing deceased’s horse in the vicinity with saddle and bridle on, but riderless. A search was made, and the police were communicated with, the result being that the body was found yesterday morning in the creek in comparatively shallow water. An inquest was held yesterday before Mr. C. E. Armstrong, when a verdict of “accidentally drowned” was returned.
