ACCOMMODATION AT OHAK LINE
[Press Association.]
AUCKLAND, Dec. 24. Inspector Bennett, acting under instructions, reports to tlie District Health Officer with regard to the 'accommodation at Ohakune: “I have inspected nine boarding-houses, with accommodation tor about 300 travellers. As regards condition, all are fairly good, and some are .excellent. As reported, some houses may be full, but beds are always available. I am informed the coaches can deal with 250 passengers in forty minutes. The complications are probably due to a want of system. Inspector Bennett meets the Ohakune Town Board on the subject to-night. Dr Purdyl is of opinion that more system would solve the difficulty of accommodating through passengers so far as Ohakune is concerned.
