Miss Mcllhone, who left Gisborne _as~pianist to the Tit tell Brune Dramatic Company, - has decided to extend her engagement, and will not return to Gisborne until towards the ,* end of February. Mr Charles Berkeley, advance representative for Mr J. C. W illiamson. arrived yesterday by the Mokoia to make preliminary arrangements for the appearance of the New Musical Comedy Company on Monday and Tuesday, January ISth and 19th. This organisation, comprising some 100 people, is now enjoying a wonderfully successful season m Auckland. ‘ . , .A. Mr C. W. Timed has resigned position in the .Union Bank, and leftlast evening for"south on a fortnight s vacation, at the end of wliieh time lie will probably return to Gisborne. Dr. Collius intends to take an extensive motor tour over Dominion roads, commencing from Napier on Monday next, whither he will travel by steamer. He will motor to-Wan-ganui via Palmerston, then to Wellington, and after taking steamer to Lvtteltdn will continue in his <*tr to Dunedin and Queenstown.
