AUCKLAND, Jan. 0. The Ngatiawa was refloated at high- water to-day, and left immediately for Auckland. She was shifted last night, and hauled off easily this morning. Slie will be docked foxinspection on v arrival. Captain Stein’s body will be. brought to Auckland for the funeral. , •

A protest bus been forwarded to the Premier against kinematograph reproductions of the recent prize fight on tho ground of its repulsive and degrading character. The -document has been signed by professors, clergy, members of Parliament, both Bishops, and other men of standing.
