The steamer Roscdale collided witli the breakwater at Bellinger Heads, tore a big hole in her bows, and then went ashore. The passengers and crew were landed by means of rocket lines. The vessel’s position is hopeless. [The Rosedale was owned by tlie North Coast Navigation Company. She was an iron twin-screw steamer of 247 tons, and was built in 1877 for the North Coast Steam Navigation Co. by 7 Thompson, of Diinuee. Her principal dimension's were: Length, 140 ft; breadth, 26.1; depth, 8.5.]
