HORSE SALES. Messrs Williams and Kettle, Ltd., yarded about 6(1 horses of various descriptions at their weekly sale < n Saturday. Bidding was brisk, and most of the loth on offer were sold. Heavy horses brought from £ls to £2O, -hicks from £4 to £lO, and harness horses from £5 to £9. A pair of ponies -was passed in at £lO. PRODUCE MARKETS. Messrs’ F. S. Malcolm and Co., auctioneers, report the following prices realised at their produce sales on Saturday:—Chickens 8d to Is 2d, fowls Is lid to *2s 3d, -roosters Is 9d to 2s 9d, ducks 2s, eggs Is to Is 3d. butter 8d to lid, potatoes .from 9-> to 13s, sack, with a plentiful su-ppey. Kumeras 0s ease, apricots 2d lb, apples 2d, onions ltd, cabbages is to 2s, marrows 2s 6d doz, peas 9d peek. French beans Id lb, butter beans 2d lb, rhubarb 4d bunch.
