FIRE AND EXPLOSION. FORTY LIVES LOST. . I '• United Press Association. Copyright (Received Jan. 2L,, 11,25 p.m.) NEW YORK, Jan. 21. A fire in a floating crib, whence access was gained to the aqueduct under Lake Michigan, Chicago; burned 20 men to death. Ten others were drowned. Meanwhile the fire caused >an explosion on one of the tunnels of the aqueduct, killing ten other men.
