The more applause a man gives and the less advice the more popular he will he. *. The pretty girl's face may be her fortune, but the homely girl's fuce ia her chaperon. The theory that it is never too i laie to mend is very comforting to those who are in no hurry to begin. Don't try to grasp an opportunity by putting salt on its tail. Love is as necessary to a woman who lias acquired the habit as tobacco is to a man. The average man’s idea of economy is to tell his wife how to save me-aey.
