The scow Rungi arrived from Auckland yesterday morning after an uneventful passage. Easterly winds from light and variable to strong prevailed all the way down the coast, and she passed East Cape early on Sunday afternoon arriving hereabout 9.30 a.m. yesterday. Her cargo consists of 140 tous of rails for the Public Works Department. The U.S.S. Co.’s Flora is timed to arrive here this. morning from Napier, and present arrangements are that she leaves again for Coast ports and Auckland at 9 a.m. Messrs Richardson and Co.’s Weka arrived from iNapier yesterday morning, and Returned in the evening. She brought general cargo for this port and 19,000 ft of timber for Clayton Bros. The U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai arrives from south to-morrow morning and sails again for Auckland. As she will he delayed in Napier waiting for the Williamson Dramatic Co., she will he later than usual in arriving at this port. The Huddnrt-Parker Co.’s Victoria arrives from Auckland and Sydney to-morrow afternoon, and sails south in the evening. The U.S.S. Co.’s Mokoia will be delayed' in . Sydney to-morrow owing to a mishap to her rudder. The s.s. Warrimoo will take up her running, and will leave Sydney either to-mor-row or Thursday. The Mokoia will take up the Warrimoo’s run to Wellington, unci they will then again change to their usual running. The scow Welcome and the schooner Awanui, which left port ‘last week for the north, 'have been unable to make any headway owing to the contrary winds on the coast. For the second time since her departure, the Welcome put into the Bay on Sunday night late, but getting a favorable slant 1 Yesterday morning stood out again. The scow Rangi. which arrived yesterday, reports having passed the Awanui heading to this port off Pakarao yesterday. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall Imt .Auckland yesterday for lolorra Bay aud Gisborne. On cnschargum here she loads a cargo of sheep for Whaiigarci. and on her .return to Auckland from that port she wid undergo her annual overhaul.
