Reese (West Christchurch), A. Sims (East Christchurch), B. B. Wood (St. Albans); emergency: J. Bruges (Sydenham). The team is the same as that which played against Auckland except that Ellis replaces Malone, and Patrick replaces Olliver. Ellis is a change bowiler, and is also a reserve wicketkeeper of the* first class.- On the whole the team is a splendid out, and should give a good" account of itself.
