COOPER’S OPERASCOPE

Cooper's .Operascope Company is to appear at His Majesty’s Theatre tonight Lind to-morrow night. The entertainment lias been very highly spoken of. One critic says:—“The pictures were, clear and steady, therebeing an entire absence of flicker. Tho star picture was a photographic study of “Harry Lauder,” the noted Scotch comedian. .A particularly interesting picture was the sensational story of bhe “Outlaw,” which was a romance in itself, in which villiany predominates. Of the colored films. “Miss Hold’s Puppets” and “The Game of Diaibolo,” were an excellent exhibition of photographic art. -Special mention should be made of .’the singing pictures introducing the wellknown “Fireman’s song” and “Walk ing Homo with Angeline.” A charming variety of tho entertainment was provided by the singing of iMiss Brightie Carlisle.” “MISS LANCASHIRE LIMITED.” On AVedncsdnv evening next, at His Majesty’s Theatre, Miss Florence Baines, supported by a capable company of English 'artists, will produce “Miss Lancashire Limited.” The following extract is from a notice in a contemporary: In the role of the laughing Lancashire Lass, Miss Florence Baines may be best, described as a laugh incarnate. Laughter issues from -and surrounds her as with a cloud from which electric waves of merriment radiate, infecting every members of the audience with an irrepressible desire to laugh with her.
