Fischibiach (2), E. Roche (bow) and A. Pritchard J• Bragg© (3), J. McConnell (2), 'V • 1 ritchard (bow). Both crews got away well together, but iMcLeod soon obtained a slight load. At tlie Kaiti bridge Pritchard made a game attempt to overtake the leader, but was not successful, McLeod winning by three-quarters •of a length, both crews being all out. The Selection Committee met last night and chose the- following crews to go into training at onco for the races for the Licensed Victuallers’ Shield, which takes place about Easter:—

Senior crew. —It. Jones (str), B. Lowe (3), C. Winter (2), M, McLeod (bow). Junior crew.—W. McDuffie (str), H. Holsehior (3), G. McKenzie (2), S.-Doig (bow). Ten-stone crew. —C. Somervell (str), C. Clark (3), E. Roche (2), -T. McConnell (bow). Emergencies: —-Seniors, J. AYelbb and J. W. -Nicolas; juniors, A. Pritchard and J. Stuart; ten-stone crow, A. Briscoe and G. ■ Douglas.

NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP REGATTA. (Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Feb. 3. The entries for the New Zealand chaimpionsliiip- rowing regatta closed to-day. The number averages five per race, the -largest entry being in the champion sculls, for 'which eight have entered. The champion fours attracted an entry of six crews from the Wanganui,Clifton, Blenheim,, 1 icton Napier, and Wautemata Uubs.
