A REQUIEM MASS. ANNIVERSARY OF KING CARLOS’ ASSASSINATION. 'United Press Association. Copyright LISBON, Feb. 2. On tlie anniversary of the assassination of King Carlos and the Crown Prince of Portugal, King Manuel and Queen Amelia drove to a requiem Mass at the cathedral. The populace maintained an attitude of indifference. There were no disturbances, despite the absence of police precautions.
