United Press Association, Copyright (Received Feb. 4, 9.50 p.m.)
LONDON, Feb. 4
The “Chronicle” admits that there are sharp differences in the Cabinet over the development of recent meetings anent the new naval construction estimates. The Admiralty propose an immediate addition of 2-t million sterling, increasing to five million and six million in succeeding years. Mr. Lloyd-George, Viscount Morley, and Mr. Churchill are opposing the scheme. Messrs McKenna and Macnamara, though previously rigid economists, are strongly supporting it. There are rumors of possible resignations. /
