'Flic staff of the Gisborne Brewery assembled on Saturday morning to present Mr. Cussen, who is severing his connection as brewer, with a handsome spirit stand. In making the presentation,, Mr. Maude referred to the esteem in which Mr. Cussen had always been held by all, and to tlio kindly feeling which had existed. Air. Cussen feelingly replied, and during the course of his remarks stated that he would ever remember with pleasure the time ho had spent in the brewery, and that go where he might, he would never forget the Kindness which prompted the gift.
