EXHIBITION BY ARNST.

[Press Association.] •

AUCKLAND, Feb. 8. A rust gave a splendid exhibition on Saturday afternoon between Pins Island and Kauri Point, over a mile and a-half. For the greater part of the ivay he kept even with the fouroar crow by which ho was paced, finally shooting ahead of tho four-oar gig in a magnificent spurt. A rust states that the stretch of water rowed on on Saturday is as good as Parramatta, and an ideal championship course. He created tho impression that if ho retains the championship after the races abroad ho will stipulate that the next maten bo rowed at Auckland.
