The U.S-S. Cods Flora, which was unable to complete working on the coast owing to rough weather, arm cl. yesterday morning with a number ot arid general cargo for tins port. %bc left again for Napier and "Wellington in the afternoon, and will on return to Napier make two trips to Lvttelton with loads of sheep. - The scow Haore left early yesterday morning for Mercury Bay. She did not finally leave the bay until the afternoon, and will load timber at Whitianga for til is port. f The I".S.S. Squall, after undergoing her annual overhaul in Auckland, arrived yesterday morning from Tologa Bay and Auckland. She brought a general cargo for this port, including t ronsbipments ex s.s. Aberlour. She left again at 7 p.m. with a load of sheep for AVhangarei. The scow Rangi is still in port, and Captain Holstrom is making satisfactory progress towards recovery.
The U.S.S. Cods Monowai did not leave Dunedin until yesterday, and although the Napier branch will try and despatch her so that she will reach here to-morrow evening, it is posible that the steamer will not reach Gisborne until Thursday morning. Messrs. Huddart, Parker, and Cods AYimmera arrives from Sydney and Auckland to-morrow, and leaves as usual during the evening for Southern ports.
