MELBOURNE, Feb. 8
Lord (Dudley, at a yachting luncheon, referred to the value of the pastime in keeping alive the love for the sea. He hoped to see a larger number of Australia is wearing British naval uniforms, not with the identical button worn by people who walk about Portsmouth, but a uniform which would be regarded as the King’s uniform, and that they would be part of the general defence forces of the Empire. He would like all the services of the Crown to be between all British citizens wherever born. He did not believe they would ever get a complete idea of Empire until that was accomplished.
