COLLAPSE OF A RESERVOIR
A NEWCASTLE SENSATION. STREETS FLOODED. United Press Association. Copyright (Received Feb. 10, 9.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 10. The Obelisk Hill reservoir at Newcastle, damaged during the late colliery creeps, collapsed. A huge volume of water flooded and tore up the adjoining streets, otherwise the damage was slight.
