Star of Australia, s.s., in the Bay. The U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai arrived from south at midnight on Wednesday and left for Auckland yesterday morning at 7.30. , Messrs Richardson and Co. s Fanny arrived early yesterday morning from Napier, and berthed at the- wharf at 8 o’clock. On discharging cargo she left' for Waikokopu and Opoutama. Her cargo for here was a general one, including 180 2-tooth Romney rams from Messrs Hutchinson and Sons, consigned to Messrs Common, Shelton and So., for a number of clients. The Ty.ser Co.’s Star of Australia arrived from Napier yesterday morning to ship frozen meat. On loading she will proceed to Wellington, and is due to leave that port for London on Wednesday. , -- . Messrs Richardson and Co. s A oka is expected to arrive here this morning from Napier. „ The U.S.S. Co.’s V, anaKa loft the Bluff at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, and will call in here -about the 16th, on her way to Auckland, if sufficient inducement offers. The scow Rangi sailed yesterday morning for Auckland, under the command of the first mate, Petei Peterson. Captain Holmstrom not having recovered sufficiently to take charge this trip. The Maoriland Co.’s steamer Lauderdale (late. Taieri), which is now at Newcastle, is to load coal lor Gisborne, Napier, and Wellington. ; The Shaw, .Sav-ill and Albion Co. s steamer Hainan is to leave "Wellington to-morrow or Saturday for Cisborne, Napier, and -Lyttelton.
