•SOUTH AUSTRALIAN WHEAT YIELD. United Press Association. Copyright ADELAIDE, Feb. 10. The Registrar estimates the wheat yield at 22,250,000 bushels, an average of 124 bushels. The exportable surplus is estimated at 18,645,000 bushels. All these figures are records. FROZEN MEAT. [Press Association.] NAPIER. Feb. 11. • The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company cabled the following report of the frozen meat market; “There is a further fall in values of mutton and beef. To-day s quotations are: Canterbury mutton 3fd; Napier, Wellington, and North Island 3]d; lamb, second quality, 4id; beef, hinds, 3d, fores 2|d. ’ WANGANUI RAM FAIR. WANGANUI, Feb. 11. The first dav of the Wanganui ram . fair was held at Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co.’s yards to-day. There was a good sale for Lincoln studs, the top prices being 48igu* for--::-' one of Mr. W. IT. Wybourk s breed, and 41-lgus for a ram of Mr. Perry s. Border Leicester* and bouthdowns ,~ mot with a spirited sale, and all lines of these breeds wore sold under the hammer.
