CHRISTCHURCH, Fob. 12. Mrs. E. K. Hine, of this city, has been notified by the Under-Secretary of Internal Affairs that the sum oJ £lO will be paid her in respect to the design sent in by her for a coat of aims for tho Dominion. This design, with the designs of two other competitors, are to be forwarded to tho College of Arms, London, for examination, and the competitors whose designs are deemed to be first aim second in .order of merit will receive a - further payment of £lO and £5 respectively.
