Tho Executive of the Otagp centre of the New Zealand Athletic Union to-night decided to disqalify fire competitors, A. -J. Harbrow, J. Harbrow, W. McLaren, D. Sime, and J. Simc, for unsatisfactory running at Dunback in January. The disquiilificatio is for twelve months, as from January 20th. The event was the 440 yards handicap, the official time for which was lmin 3.(see. The. Executive also unanimously decided that the Centre regrets the action of the Feilding Centre in inducing the. New Zealand Athletic Union to grant permission to the Wanganui Caledonian Society to hold a meeting under its jurisdiction, and intimates that if any such action is taken in future the Otago Centre, as the stronger Centre of the Union, will consider its position in regard to the New Zealand Athletio Union.
