IN pursuance of “The Licensing Act, 1908,” I, HENRY EWART HILL, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Gisborne, do hereby give NOTICE that a~n ELECTION will be held for the. return of FIVE persons, being duly registered electors Avithin the said district, as a Licensing Committee for the said District, and that the latest day for receiving Nominations of Candidates Avill he Monday, the Ist March, 1909, at 5 o’clock p.m.. and that the Poll (if necessary) Avill be taken at the several Polling places of the said District on Tuesday, the, 9toi day of -March, 1909. Every person desirous of becoming a Candidate must be Nominated by not less than two electors of the District by a nomination paper as prescribed by Section 105 of the Legislature Act, 1908, delivered to the Returning Officer on or before the Ist dav of March, 1.909.
