A STEAMER WRECK.
THE LADY MILDRED ASHORE. GROUNDED IN A FOG. United Press Association. Copyright SYDNEY, Fob. 17. The steamer Lady Mildred, which went ashore near V ilson’s Promontory, had a cargo of 3500 tons of Newcastle coal. Owing to a dense fog, she was going dead slow, and soundings were being taken lor a considerable time before the mishap. The crew stood by the boats throughout the night.
