MASTERTON SHOW.
SECOND DAY. [Press Association.] MASTERTON, Feb. 17. - The Masterton show was brought to a conclusion to-day in unfavorable weather. In dairy produce, butter, in boxes for export, the Cheltenham Company .gained first prize,.the Mauriee.ville Company second, and the Balia nee factory third. For butter in boxes for local consumption the Cheltenham Company was first, the Mauriceville Company second, and the Masterton: Company third. In the hunters’ competition, D. Ross’ Midnight was first. In the walking competition, J. Elley’s Guy Fawkes was first. Trotting horse, in harness, W. 1). Watson’s Austioneer’s Champion was first. In jumping, Norman Moore’s horse was first. In the consolation jumping, J. H. Niven’s Pickpocket- was first.
