The suffragettes are indignant aft there being no reference in the King’s Speech to the subject of the franchise. Three suffragettes invaded an ‘‘at home” given by Mr. Reginald McKenna, First Lord of the Admiralty. One woman stood on a chair and delivered an address to the guests. All the invaders were ejected. Another suffragette ballooned over London, making use of a megaphone, and the balloon having a huge inscription attached.
