BRITISH SHIPPING.
LAST YEAR’S RETURNS. THE WORST EVER EXPERIENCED. (Received Feb. 21, 4.45 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 20. Mr. Bright-man, in his presidential address to the Chamber of Shipping, said that the past year had been the worst ever experienced. Tonnage of between a million and two million tons had been laid up.in the United Kingdom.
