Only an impromptu meeting .was held last evening, and as there will not be any cup competitions on Thursday it was decided that a local eleven would try conclusions with 1 lie Y..M.C.A team on the concrete pitch, play to start at 2.30 p.m. sharp. Saturday competitions will continue a? usual : Wanderers v. United on tho Domain. Te Ran v. Taruhern at Taruhern; both matches to start at 2.30 p.m. sharp. t WA IRA RAPA v. HAWKE’S BAY. [Press Association.] MASTERTON, Feb. 23. The Wairarapa. v. Hawke’s Bay cricket match began to-day. 'Hie scores at the call of time were: Hawke's Bay, tirst. innings, 148; AYairarapa. 36. The match will be continued to-morrow.
