• LONDON, Feb. 25. Th'c Labor members’.. minority re-, port on the poor law is -attracting the attention of the Radical press. It includes Government -subventions to trades unions towards grants for unemployed and Government schemes of work extending for ten years, and operating in times of depression. Lord Balfour, of Burleigh, estimates, that the adoption of the recommendations will involve £IOO,OOO a year as against the present £20,000.
