BULLET FROM REVOLVER DEFLECTED. Miss Kathleen Grantham, aged 30, manageress of a millinery shop in Western Road, Brighton, ivas recently saved, from a violent death through her corsets deflecting ia bullet which would otherwise have penetrated her side. Mr William Padwiclc, aged .about 50, a well-known farmer, of Green Done, Thakeham, entered the shop and shortly afterwards shots were heard. As she did’ so she heard another report and felt something strike her side.
