Even if a person be a ‘•public Servant,” you cannot declare "that he is not worth liis salt,” and generally attack his fitness ior his duties without laying both the newspaper and' yourself open to a charge, of libel. In any case ft is unfair to make a personal attack of this nature under cover of a nom de plume.
