It is rumoured he plays for Hampshire. s THE DISPUTE RE UMPIRES. MATCH AWARDED TO WANDER ERS. The inquiry into the deadlock which arose over the appointment of umpires in the match between the United and Wanderers Clubs, at Victoria Doain on Saturday last, and which engaged the attention of the Management Committee on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, was resumed last night, at the British Empire Hotel. Consideration of the case was loft tr Messrs Cederwall (president), J.' W Scholium, and J. H. Waclc (To Rau) •J. Charles (Ta-ruheru), aud H. G. Rose (lion, secretary). Shortly before 10 o’clock the following communication was handed to the press by the lion, secretary:— “The Management Committee resumed to consider the case, and after carefully reviewing the evidence submitted to them, decided they had no other course hut to award the match to Wanderers, such win to score three points in the competition.’
