GISBORNE GAS WORKS.

THE NEW MANAGER-

Mr. Henry Hoare, M.1.G.E., has commenced' duty as manager of the Gisborne gasworks. Mr. Hoare has had considerable experience in the manufacturing of gas, and served his time to the plumbing and hot water fitting part of the work. He was as-sistant-manager. of the Perth (West Australia) gas and electric light works., and superintended the. erection of the Collesloe water-works near Perth. He afterwards held an important position in the service of the Parramatta Gas Company, New South Wales, and for some- years managed the Grafton gas lighting works. New South Wales. Mr. Hoare was highly recommended for the. position in Gisborne, and already has .shown his efficiency in his management of the local works.
