Copyright (Received March 7, 4.45 p.m.) LONDON, March 7. ’King Edward has permitted Lord Esher to utilise Queen Victoria,’s unpublished journals for an address to the Royal Institution. The journals comprise 1250 largo volumes of correspondence and journals and 100 manuscript volumes, -a daily record of . tlie late Queen’s life ! from her, thirteenth birthday to within ten days of her death. They will never be published entirely. By Queen Victoria’s wish these were examined uy Princess Beatrice, who copied many volumes, excising passages the late Queen desired to be kept private.
