Permits must be obtained from I the Secretary before 11.30 a.m. on the [ day of races. Bookmakers plying their occupation without permission will be removed and prosecuted. MINIMUM WElGHT.—Minimum weight in all events excepting Maiden Scurry and Ladies’ Bracelet, 9st. PROTESTS. Protests,. if any, must be made in writing and handed to the Secretary within 15 minutes after the" first horse passes the post. A deposit of £2 must accompany each protest, such deposit to be forfeited if the protest be not sustained. No entry will be received for any race except on the condition that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the stewards. ENTRlES—Entries will only be received on the condition that a decision of the majority of the stewards shall be final on any point arising out of the definition of district boundaries.
