Athenic and Marere. • It was hop ed to get the former vessel away lasi night for Napier, taking approximately 15,000 carcases of mutton am lamb, 500 quarters of beef, 600 baleof wool, 500 pockets of wool, and 401 casks of tallow from this port. The U.S.S. Co.’s AVhangape wa: expected to get away early this morn, ing for Timaru with a cargo of 500. sheep for clients of Messrs Common. Shelton and Co. The steamer return; later to take further shipments fo: Timaru and Lyttelton. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall arrived yes terday evening from Tologa Bay anc Auckland and sails again this even ing for Auckland. The U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai arrive; from south to-morrow morning, and' continues her journey to Auckland later.
The Huddart-Parker Co.’s Wimmera is due here to-morrow afternoon, and leaves again during the evening for southern ports. The barquentine Pelotas is due early from Newcastle. (BY TELEGRAPH.)
