POLO.
ANNUAL TV URNAMENT. The polo tournament was brought to a close at Makauri yesterday, morning, when the representative team (No. 1, A. B. Williams; No. 2, G. Reynolds; No. 3. R. Reynolds'; back, J.'Murphy) met a scratch team consisting of Messrs R. Murpliy, R. Slierratt, T. Sherratt, and R. Murphy. The representative team used the game chiefly to test the capabilities of their ponies for use in the Palmerston North tourney, and did not play their best game, the result being that the scratch team won.
