The new season’s hats come to us in many charming styles. There are delightful “ .Monte Caidc ” models of Ottoman silk, trimmed with a large wing or Owl's head, while a very much admired hat is in the fascinating ‘■‘Merry Widow” mode, made of black filet lace and adorned with a single, large, drooping plume A Stylish Biarritz model is of Satin Sable, in the new Drake Neck shade, with mole-colored bandeau and shaded wings. A large black Ottoman hat is trimmed with a swathe and bow of cinnamon Messaline. Space forbids any further mention of our lovely hats. Suffice it to say, we are justly proud of cur collection, and take tiiis opportunity of inviting you to inspect them. Tire Costumes for the season are decidedly smart. They are chiefly in the Empire style, with round fronts, tiimmed with braids and relieved by effective colored fronts. Other fashionable styles come in three-quarter length tight-fitting tsilor-mades, while the short hip and Norfolk coa‘s are still in vogue. A Chic English tailor-made model of bronze gre-en Venetian cloth. The Empire coat is trimmed with black silk, military braid, and a slight sensation of black satin. A very choice black and white stiiped costume, cut away coat, smartly trimmed with black velvet and narrow b'ack braid. The skirt is the fashionable walking length. New Derectoire velvet jackets come in a variety of fashionable shades. They are made in three-quarter lengths, double breasted, and with storm collar. A very smart jacket of dark green striped chiffon cloth, finished wi*h Oriental trimming and black silk braid lined with silk.
