McKenzie's .grounds, 'Waihirerc, yesterday. There was a good attendance, and ■ m - the afternoon a considerable number ci adults were present. 'the catering arrangements were well carried out by Mrs. Erskino, who had;,a capable staff to cope with the demands of the more thirsty than? hungry children. Some, of the. events (provided very excellent finishes,’-the-. high jump and the long jump being especially creditable to those who were placed, and very interesting to the spectators. All the. arrangements wore well carried out by the teachers of the schools, who left nothing undone to make the outing a success*! .
