FRENCH GIRL STABS RIVAL TO DEATH.
A remarkable specimen of the jcixiale Apaclie, the untamed hoougan of Paris, was recently sentenced by the Seine Assize Court to two years imprisonment for stabbing hei rn •* to death. Her name, or, at least, the name she is known by, is Cm nonet to. Her age is only 24, but according to the correspondent oi the ‘ Telegraph she has crammed more excitement into her short life than most women would expedience if they lived to bo centenarians. The correspondent states that tins is the second killing of which Chiffonette, who, besides an eye gourged out, has tho marks of 26 stabs on her body, lias been accused. The charges read against her were almost inci cdio.o, when one thinks of the strenuous struggles which she has survived, llie prcsicfing judge read out tho following list of her exploits: ‘•You are a female Apache. _ You received as many stabs of tho knife as von mivo, and as many revolver shots as vott fired.
