SERIOUS ACCIDENT.
YOUNG WOMAN- TERRIBLY • BURNED. A serious accident occurred yesterday afternoon in Upper Gladstone Road, when Mrs. Holloway, a daughter of Mr. John East, received terrible burns about her limbs and body. She was melting beeswax on a stove, when the wax boiled over and shot into names. She rushed to the stove and caught the dish in her apron, endeavoring to take it out. The burning wax ee-t her dress alight-, and she rushed out, scrpaming for assistance. Several neighbors were soon on the scene, and succeeded in extinguishing the flames, after the poor woman’s dress had been almost completely burnt off.- < Although suffering, intensely, she had the presence of mind to tell the helpers that her house was on fire, and two gentlemen, who had arrived by this time, immediately went in and succeeded in putting out the -flames before any seriousdamage had been clone. . ■ Mrs. Holloway was carried into her room, where Drs.
