[To the Editor.] Sir, —Will you kindly find room in your columns for tho accompanying ’“Song of Victory.” I am sorry to say that* a truce could not he arranged between the Reds and Blues, so that Monday night’s conversazione is for the Blues alone. Otherwise the “Song of Victory” would have been one of the items on the programme, rendered by a Red quartette party. Thanking yon in anticipation,—l am, etc., THE AUTHOR, “A SONG OF VICTORY.” Boys, rally round the Red Flag, It floats above the Blue; It’s the flag to follow in tho fight That means so much for you. Ride hard, strike home, another down! Then off again to forage. The Banner lied is in the lead, The Blues must eat- the porridge. Chorus: Yes, keep the Red flag flying, Your captain looks to you, Get members by the score beys. Or the foe will lioist the Hue. The Blood Red Flag is flying Defiant in the breeze, The Reds are up and doing. While the Blue- Boys do a freeze. Then don the Ribbon Red, boys, Help us in this fight, And see the Blue, crestfallen ice Eat porridge Thursday night. Chorus: Yes, keep the Red Flag fiyo g. Etc.
