The races are for youths under 20,. who reside in the Te Karaka district. Mr. A. M. Lewis has kindly donated two medals, one for the winner of each race. The first two to finish in each heat, and the makers of the fastest time recorded will compete in a fortnight’s time for a handsome silver cup, also given by Mr. A. M. Lewis.
