AUSTRIA AND SERVJA. THE LAST SERVIAN NOTE. United Press Association —Copyright. LONDON, March 1. The Servian note, while expressing reliance upon the Powers for the settlement of tiie international aspect of the questions raised, demands that Austria 'submit to Parliament a treaty of commerce arranged in 1903. The provisional arrangement eifpires on the 31st 'inst. If Parliament is unable to ratify the treaty Dr Milcvanovich, the Servian Minister for Foreign Affairs, is willing to continue the existing arrangement throughout 1909. THE RUSSO-TURKJ-SH COMPROMISE. THE BULGARIAN INDEMNITY INCLUDED. The Russo-Turkisk compromise covers the Bulgarian indemnity. It requires the Porte’s acceptance, which is practically assured. MORE TROUBLE THREATENED. THE N CT7-UN lON IST QUESTION. (Received March 17, 9.4-5 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 17. Trouble is threatened between the Amalgamated Miners’ 5 Association and the combined unions at Barrier over the latter’s action regarding non-union-ists in the Junction North case. A section of the men claim that- they have been sold on the non-unionist question.
