CONTINUOUS RAIN

Most of the rivers on the Coast roads are in flood, but up to last , night were not dangerous for traffic. HEAVY WEATHER ON THE COAST. (Special to "Times”.) TUPAROA, Mar. 18. There is very heavy weather at Tuparoa and along the coast. The s.s. Flora was unable, to work ports. The second day of the Waiapu Hog Trials has been postponed, .and unless the weather moderates considerably the races appointed for Saturday will be postponed. . . . The rain is welcome to the district for it the first for two months. Last week residents were carting water. It is now raining incessantly.
