CHRISTCHURCH, March 18. Tire Hon. Dr. Find lay, who arrived from the north by the Maori this. morn-, inf, paid another visit .of inspection to Lyttelton Gaol, in company with Mr. G. Laurenson, M.P. The M inister made a close examination of that part oi the prison in which vouiig •offenders were placed, and got Mr. Cleary governor of the gaol,' to give him full information as to tlie methods of treatment adopted in regard to this particular class.
