CRICKET
SATURDAY COMPETITION. The Saturday afternoon . matches, commenced last week, will be resumed this afternoon, United journeying out to Taruheru, and To Rau and Wanderers meeting at Victoria Domain. The following players will leave town by the 2.5 ’bus for Taruheru to-day: Il'allamore, Bowman, Gibson, Whyte, Jeffreys, Farrell, Grenfell, Barker, Daniell, J, Lang, and- Coop. “REDS” AND “BLUES.” The following team will represent the Y.M.C.A. “reds” in a match against the “blues” on the concrete wicket this afternoon: .Muir, Brown, Hutton, Nelson, iSebire, Burnside, Olsen, Moore, Knibbs, Elinor and N. Bull; emergencies, A. L. Winter, J. Quigley, and B. Parsons. The .“blues” will bo chosen from the following: Dawson, Everiss, D. Miller, H. V. Foster, • Saunders, Fromm (2), Mill, Edwards, Nelson, Dudfie’.d, Vincent, Cox, Aitken, E. McGregor,. and J. Peach, Barlow, Charters, and Mitchell. Each player will be taxed Is ground fee. Play commences at 2.30, when all players are requested to be ready.
