BODY NOT YET RECOVERED
On; inquiries being made .at More-re at a late* hour last night, a “Times” re> J, porter ..was informed that ithc body of Miss Annie Parker? who - was accidentally. drowned at Stewart’s crossing on the Nuhaka river on Thursday afternoon has not yet been recovered: . The, two-.dead tholes have been found, and ..wiil be got out of the ; river to-day. The location of the trap has also been ascertained. No attempt has been made to -get it out of the river, which is very •swollen, but is going down rapi<%y. Mr ig}. ,-J. -Parker -atrivQd at Morere yesterday morning. ' "' Mr. TV. A. fßarton, S.M., lias instructed Mr; C.’ E. Stewart, J.P., of Morere, to hold an inquest on the body -of the missing young lady when recovered.
