The Antarctic exploration vessel Nimrod. which left Lyttelton on New Year’s Day for the Antarctic regions to bring back Lieutenant Shackehon and party, reached Stewart Island this morning at--9 o’clock. LYTTELTON, Mar. 23. Word has been received that the Nimrod has arrived at Hali'moon Bay, and is due at Lyttelton about Thursday. CHRISTCHURCH, Mar. 23. It is understood the Nimrod brought back Lieutenant Shsckelton and the members-of the expedition “all well and successful.” The vessel is expected to •arrive at Lyttelton on Thursday afternoon.
